In 2017, Jerry was inducted into the New England Mortgage Bankers Hall of Fame. Jerry is a Past President of the Rhode Island Mortgage Bankers Association, where he still serves on its board of directors. He was also a Director of the Massachusetts Mortgage Association, where he served as its Legislative Committee Chairperson and was honored with Association's "Broker of the Year" and "President's" Awards.
Jerry is a resident of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, where he serves on the Representative Town Meeting from Precinct 5.
